Offer: I will write a story of no less than 1500 words (almost guaranteed more), tailored to your specifications. I will write almost anything - I think my only true squick is incest fic, but I also can't write fluff. As a warning, things I write tend to be a little dark, though I am capable of writing more uplifting things

i'd be happy to over a second story, for $25, your bid, if you want it. i know everything got screwed up with lj going down - i lost a bunch of auctions myself - so if you want to donate, go for it, and i'll have a dan-centric story for you! (it might be a little later than sept. 15th, but yeah, it will be there for you!)

Thank you very much! I didn't know LJ had gone down (possibly it did it while I was asleep), but, then again, I didn't see the 'bidding has ended' post either, and I'm constitutionally incapable of working out when whatever-it-was Pacific time might be, even with the help of the World Clock (this is, actually, embarrassingly true, I tried to arrange a phone conference at work the other day in the innocent belief that London time was GMT. Which it isn't, at the moment. But I digress).

If you are up for writing Sports Night, I'm more than happy to make the donation accordingly. Fic has seriously dried up of late - and besides, it's for a good cause. Dan would certainly approve. So would Casey, really, he'd just have a lot of trouble saying so.

I'm totally up for Sports Night, but have to I warn you, if you want Dan/Casey, it's going to be either unrequited or completely brother-bonding we're-the-best-of-friends type, because I can't truly slash the two for the life of me. However, if you possibly want a fic with Danny talking to Abby about why Casey means so much, or Danny plotting something elaborate with someone for Casey, or Casey and Dan driving Dana crazy - that I can do. Up to you!

(Too bad you can't donate to erase Hillary's campaign debt. Now THAT'S something you know Danny would *definitely* approve of! ;) )

Dan-centric is my main criterion; I don't always slash him with Casey myself, 'cos I don't necessarily think Casey deserves him. I've given Dan other partners, and had Casey break his heart and, oh, all sorts. My argument is that there's no such thing as a happy ending, only happy beginnings. (I'm not sure my audience is convinced by this.) Unrequited is fine by me, come to that!

I'm not sure; I suspect Dan may have changed his allegience over the years. He probably still has a boycrush on Hillary, but I reckon that nowadays he's an Obama man, through and through. As is Isaac, of course. (Oh - I love Isaac, btw. Isaac is awesome.)

I'll put the donation through when I get home tonight, and PM you the receipt. And after that, I'll look forward to seeing where the SN muses take you, as and when.
