Need some postcards and photos for your wall? Maybe a Padres or Chargers hat? Don't forget seashells and flip-flops! I will fill a shoebox with local goodies and send it your way by September 1. It will include wearable items, kitschy souvenirs, newspaper clippings, photographs, and nonperishable local delicacies. You will definitely get a vial of sand and sea water -- great for you inland folks! Also, if you have a fandom that could conceivably lend itself to this, I will write you a short fic about your favorite character(s) visiting San Diego and experiencing the local color. It doesn't matter if this is one of my fandoms as well; I will do the necessary research to accommodate you.
