Offered: Names for Fiction or Roleplaying Scenarios

Jul 02, 2008 22:51

Offer: Having trouble coming up with names for your fic or scenario? I love working with names, and I will research and/or create up to 100 names (for people, places, or things) according to your specifications.

Examples of the sort of specs I can follow:
  • 50 male and 50 female names for a hard-boiled noire-ish detective scenario set in the 1930s ( Read more... )

Oh god, I don't have the cash right now, but I totally understand why this offer would get many, many bids. *cannot name things to save my life*

Awww ... well, thanks for the kind words! I'm not sure this is the right audience for it ... .

I think this is an audience for everything, man. There's so much cool stuff going around! And there're so many writers - and I'm pretty sure most of them have had a problem with naming at some point... 8D

Debate, debate, debate. Ah, what the hell.

$10

(This wouldn't be for the crane/fox thing, btw. XD It would be for the I-hate-elves thing, because I think names would spur a lot of creativity.)

How cool--I'm glad someone bid already because I think your "Buy It Now" is way low. =>

And the only reason I didn't use the Buy It Now option is that I've got bids on 3 other auctions that I haven't given up on yet, so I don't want to exceed my budget. XD

Believe me, I understand. So many pretties, so little monies ... .

Aww, thanks! I just don't know how much interest it's going to generate. I used to make lists like this for my fellow gamesmasters when I was part of a more active, creative gaming group whose members made up their own scenarios all the time.

Wow, I can't tell you how many times I've stalled a story just because I couldn't come up with a name for a place or a thing. Good luck with this! :D
