I am so glad I decided to do X-Men Big Bang, and I'm so glad I got paired with zihna, who is an incredibly talented writer and wrote such a beautiful fic! The fanvid contains spoilers for, oh, pretty much the entire fic, so be sure to read it first!

"Iridescent" by Linkin Park was the obvious choice for the vid. I'm glad I got such a direct inspiration to weave the vid around, the song really fits the fic so well in story and tone. And then I decided to use "Wisdom, Justice, and Love" as a prologue of sorts to the main song, just like on the band's album.

Once again, if you haven't read the fic yet, I highly recommend you do before watching the vid. This contains spoilers for the entire story, and some things just won't make sense without having read the fic.

While listening to Linkin Park's album A Thousand Suns, I realized that some of the songs really matched the tone of the story and decided to use them as intros to the different parts of the fic. Each section has an introductory song by Linkin Park, followed by six songs that go back and forth between Erik's and Charles's POV. Part One starts with Erik, Part Two starts with Charles, and Part Three starts with Erik again.
