So this is fab, I'm just packing boxes so I can be all ready to move in 4 days. I can't wait to live downtown again, there's all those dumpsters and alleys and really old houses I love so much. While I'm packing I've found all this old crap I completely forgot I had. An I Mother Earth cd, a broken blender, a bunch of German religious records and stuffed animals out the wazoo. Why do I even keep this stuff? I'm not pack-ratty at all, I really do like a clean space, but it's just so easy to leave all this junk at home and forget about it. It sucks I can't take Lou to my new place but he's probably better off here anyways. He really likes chewing on Brandy and sitting on the giant leather couches all by himself when he thinks no one's looking. I actually saw a squirrel in a rat trap yesterday that was bigger than him. I thought 'that's so mean to cage a squirrel' and tried to set 'er loose but I couldn't figure out how to get the thing open. And then I saw people moving around inside the house it was in front of so I ran away as fast as I could, which is getting to be pretty fast. I can speedwalk for a good 4 hours solid now!
Skipper tried to do our show on Tuesday, but apparently there was a huge accident so she couldn't get up the hill. Zute, that makes 2...3 shows in a row? It's totally my fault, I just get burnt out after work and want to sleep by 8pm. I haven't even started thinking about Christmas yet, which is ironic because it's already making work chaotic. Ahhh, parcel delivery. For the first time I'm actually going to ask for the sensible gift of appliances. Home seems funner if I have a working toaster. What I really need though is board games, I found a deck of cards this morning and was all excited because it said on the package "these cards have been used in one of our fabulous casinos". They really used 'fabulous' to describe their casino, that's awesome. But the cards are all cheap and crusty so I'm doubting the fabulousness of their establishment. I think I've procrastinated long enough so it's back to packing now for me. And laundry. Oh and making cream of mushroom soup extra special by adding MORE tinned mushrooms to it. See, my cooking skills with canned foods are getting more exotic by the day.
