So I finished my Velma costume, but it turns out I missed the big radio station bowling party. Arrrrg, so now I'm really just left with a nerdy costume to walk around in by myself, up and down the street. How is this different from everyday, exactly? Work is exciting though, I finally got a route of my own for a while so things don't change too drastically everyday like they used to. And I got threatened for the first time yesterday, and that was kind of exciting in a terrifying way. I guess sometimes the little man gets upset when you work for the big man. But that's okay, high school taught me to deal with these things by thinking that the aggressor just secretly likes me, even if it is an old angry Ukrainian man in a Mercedes. I drive a big work truck now in busy downtown areas, and it gets in other people's way sometimes but usually they just impatiently tailgate or drive up on the sidewalk to save that precious 30 seconds they would have waited for me to safely turn/parallel park/not collide with cyclists. Anyways I think it's time to re-bleach, the hair is starting to darken again. I was debating dying the back brown and keeping the blonde in front, like it was a while ago, but I'm not sure if I'll like that for long enough. It's so hard to please myself these days... Actually that's a lie, I got very excited after buying a kit to make candy apples, my favorite excess in the world. I ate way too many, and apparently 3 apples a day doesn't really make you feel good. But you know, Halloween's for splurging and making yourself sick. I just finished reading Steven Hawking's "Theory of Everything", and was totally impressed. He makes all these interesting theories of how the universe started, and explains physics in a way I can understand. It's scary, because we could be swallowed by a black hole any time and we wouldn't even know it was coming. Ooga booga! No seriously, you wouldn't.
And now, for another week of Vancouver thrills and wetness. Driving a big truck in the rain is da bomb and it's time to essplode, Lucy. Bubballoo!
