Last night Mom and I watched The Motorcycle Diaries while Dad was out Republicanizing. We drank a lot of coffee, and afterwards talked about colonialism, racism in America, poverty, and Eurocentric education.
It got me all sorts of riled up.
During a lecture on the Seven Years War (another one! BAH!) in Western Civ today, I started outlining a syllabus and lesson plan for how I would teach World History to high schoolers and Western Civ I and II to college kids.
