Hangs galore... how will I ever get back into the job + classes routine?!
Monday I spent some time with Rida-I selfishly love that she's taking summer classes, so that I can see her more often.
Went to the Post Office, got a hard case to store my posters in, forwarded my mail to NJ. I am still in denial about moving, though.
Hung out with Susan, she's now the only person left in that apartment. Weird! Helped her eat the leftovers in her fridge.
Met up with Tracy and Di for Angelo's. Susan and DT went to bed, Tracy and I chilled until Jer drove us to The Up and Under on Brady Street for open mic blues and jazz night. Tracy networked and delved deeper into the Milwaukee blues scene...
And then she went on stage on totally owned, improv-ing “Dirty Man”... she was by far the most talented vocalist all night. Girl got SOUL!
Yesterday I spent a sick amount of time lounging, either with a book or on NPR.org. Susan came over and we watched Kinsey. Intense, but good. Worked.
Today = coffee addiction. At 1-ish Olive, Sarah, Jackie, Susan and I went to Alterra at the Lake.
I spent a lot of time cleaning my apartment...
Then I had Jackie, Susan, Sarah and Amy over at 8 for coffee and dessert. There were chocolate chip muffins and a strawberry-kiwi torte, and Sarah provided the liqueur, of course.
Almost played Taboo... but just ended up talking on the floor instead. I can't believe Sarah leaves for D.C. in a week!
Tomorrow: More hangs, probably.
