I'm Jo Harvelle. Don't call me Joanna or you're liable to get an ass full of lead when I shoot it. Yes, I will shoot you. I was taught by the best and I have no qualms about it.
I'm a hunter. Well, huntress. Sort of. My mother would rather that I stay away from that part of life. Can't keep me out of it, though. It's just who I am. My father was a hunter, although he was killed by one of the things he was hunting. The guy I'm in love with is a hunter, too. It's probably a good thing that we have that in common.
Family is one of the most important things to me. It has to be. In this line of work, you hold on to the things that matter, the things that you know beyond a doubt. It's been only my mom and me for several years, but that's all I needed. I love my mom dearly -- even if I do wish she would back down from being so damn over-protective sometimes.
I think she's a little more relaxed about it now that Dean's in my life. Of course, she'd rather neither of us hunted at all. She knows what she went through when my dad died and I know that she doesn't want to put me through that.
That's me in a nutshell... well the only part of me you'll see unless you make an attempt to get on my good side and get to know me.
And no, even then, you won't get to call me Joanna.
