Disclaimer: I don’t own anything except the order of words. This never happened.
Warnings: m/m sex, angst, suicidal thoughts, violence, secondary character death (not Adam or Tommy), blood play, barebacking (Oops, was that all? Don’t fret, it’s not as bad as it sounds.) There will also be a whole lotta love!
A/N: It’s been almost ten years since I’ve written a fic, so this is all new to me again. English isn’t my native language, so this is also the first fic I’ve written in English. Comments are love! Sorry it took me this long to continue the story.
Summary: Tommy is tired of his life and travels to a secluded hotel to clear his head. Weather reports say there’s a killer storm coming in and it’s likely to cut the hotel’s connections to the outside world. The storm does just that, and it also brings uninvited guests who happen to be vampires. What happens to Tommy in the hands of these dangerous creatures?

groffiction Chapter 7
Not strong enough. . .
I'm not strong enough to stay away
Can't run from you
I'd just run back to you
Like a moth I'm drawn into your flame
You say my name but it's not the same
You look in my eyes
I'm stripped of my pride
And my soul surrenders
And you bring my heart to its knees
Nobody said a word. Everyone sat silently as the cascading light of the enormous flames slowly faded into the horizon. Tommy sensed something in the air, something that resembled reverence. Towards what? Those murderers who died in that place didn’t deserve any kind of veneration.
Tommy noticed everyone was glancing at him, both immortals and humans. It was done in a subtle manner, but every now and then, a pair of eyes was fixed on him. It was weird. And it was just as if they were paying their respects to him. Because he just died. Tommy knew it was crazy, yet it was something he felt.
Tommy was very aware that doing this, dying, was wrong towards the ones that still cared for him. But in his heart, it all felt so right. Without Adam, Tommy would’ve really perished. That death would’ve been the real deal, death so grim, final in a different way.
When there was only a smallest amount of light left on the horizon, and as the distance between them and the hotel grew, it was Brad who broke the silence. Soon there was casual chatter, and the mood began to change into a more relaxed one.
Tommy was still sitting in Adam’s lap as he watched the light of the flames slowly fade into the darkness. It looked as if there was like a small glow bug between the mountains. They were already far away and Tommy guessed that the castle was now in ruins.
The vampire was holding him tenderly, stroking the nape of his neck every now and then.
“How do you feel?” Adam asked him.
Tommy was more than sure Adam could feel his confusion, all the mixed feelings racing in his mind. There was no other option than to tell the truth.
“I’m kinda ok,” Tommy said, his voice quiet and low.
“Are you sure?” The question held a hint of concern.
Smiling, Tommy pressed even closer to his lover’s solid body.
“Yes, I’m sure. Where are we going now?” Tommy asked.
“We are going to the Caribbean, my love. I have an island, an estate, there,” Adam answered, chuckling a bit.
“Caribbean? An island?” Tommy whispered in awe.
Well the surprises didn’t seem to end.
“Yes. I own a few properties here and there. I have a mansion in Florida, an old estate in Europe, and this island in the middle of the Caribbean sea,” Adam told him casually.
“Isn’t there too much sunlight? In the Caribbean I mean?”
The question brought about a musical laughter from Adam. Had Tommy said something funny again?
“Sunlight isn’t dangerous to us, my love. We prefer to sleep during daytime, but light isn’t a threat of any kind.”
“Oh,” Tommy breathed.
He was stunned. More than so. All the new information was almost too much. They didn’t have to avoid sun. Adam was loaded. Well, apparently so because the immortal owned a frigging island. For a moment, it all felt way too overwhelming. Tommy felt how his pulse and breathing began to quicken.
“Hey. Look at me, my love. You’re safe. Everything is going to be alright,” Adam soothed, massaging his neck in gentle motions.
Adam turned so that he was able to press a wet kiss against the boy’s lips. As Adam’s tongue slid in to mingle with his, Tommy’s mind started buzzing in a pleasant way. Tommy just pressed closer and relaxed in Adam’s embrace.
“I only have two bags of clothes with me,” Tommy stated.
Adam chuckled, “Don’t worry about that.”
Said a man who owned an island.
“Folks! It’s food time!” The shout came from Monte, who appeared from the door leading below the deck.
Monte was carrying large bottles that appeared to be filled with wine. Eric was right behind him, carrying two large trays of food. Tommy’s mouth began to water at the sight of burgers and chicken. He was always hungry.
Adam pushed Tommy a little so that he would sit in a more upright position.
“You need to eat, Tommy Joe. We have a long trip ahead of us,” Adam said, motioning at the food that was being placed on the half moon-shaped table.
After a minute, Terrance emerged with a load of beer, hard cider and beverages. Food was passed around to the humans, bottles were being opened, and a happy chatter started to fill the air again. Tommy smiled; it somehow felt like home, all these people and the atmosphere.
Tommy took a supersized hamburger from underneath the wrapping and started munching it contently. Eric disappeared somewhere; most likely he was taking food and drink to the ones on the wheel. Monte, on the other hand, came to sit with them and opened one of the large bottles. Suddenly, Adam snatched the burger from Tommy’s hands and began feeding him tiny little pieces of it.
“I don’t even know everybody’s names yet,” Tommy whispered so quietly that only Adam could hear him.
“Brooke is the only vampire you don’t already know,” Adam informed him. “Alex and Matt are with her on the wheel. The ones sitting on the corner benches are Taylor, Sasha and Cassidy.”
The three humans were eating and laughing, guns nowhere to be seen.
It dawned to Tommy that the vampires weren’t eating anything. They were only drinking wine from the bottles. Adam had taken a glass of it and now Tommy started to suspect…
“Is that wine?” he asked, suddenly sounding a bit jumpy.
“No. It’s wine mixed with blood. The drink is not enough to satisfy though, it’s more of an appetiser or a snack,” Adam answered as he glanced at his glass back on the table.
Tommy gulped. This was it now; there would always be blood around from now on. Still, some of these little epiphanies were able to fuck with his mind, making him just a tiny bit scared.
Adam started stroking his fingers in Tommy’s fringe. The gesture felt protective and in a matter of seconds he forgot why he’d been startled. He felt drawn into Adam like a moth into a flame. The pale, dark man behind him was his angel, gentle and beautiful.
“Now, eat the rest of your burger. You’re so tiny already,” Adam coaxed softly. He held the next piece in his fingers until Tommy opened his lips, taking the bite into his mouth.
Tommy blushed. It was weird, to have someone take care of you, to own you completely.
“Want another beer?” Kris asked, holding a couple of beers in his hands.
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy answered, smiling tentatively as he took a bottle from Kris.
“Tommy…Welcome. We’re going to be good friends,” Kris said.
Tommy didn’t doubt that one bit.
Allison was giggling, pouring down the blood wine at a fast rate.
“And Tommy, you don’t have to be so scared of me,” she giggled in between gulps of blood wine.
“Um… I’m just trying to get used to this all.” Tommy felt a bit nervous again. Jeez, what a rollercoaster of emotions.
“Oh, honey, that’s something we’ve all felt once.” Brad said, sounding just as knowledgeable as always.
Tommy had no idea what time it was when everyone started drifting off to the cabins below the deck. Soon there was only Kris, Brad and Allison sitting with them.
Feeling a little tired, Tommy turned to look at Adam who was scrutinizing him with blue eyes gone dark. The message in those magical orbs was clear. Lust. Blood lust. He’d seen that look on Allison’s and Brad’s face as they’d killed the blond woman the day before.
Tommy shivered violently. Suddenly, Adam lifted Tommy, carefully sitting him down against the black leather cushions so that his legs were in Adam’s lap. Then he took a hold of the human’s wrist, bringing it close to his lips. The fangs were slowly lowering into his mouth. And the sight was enough to make Tommy’s pulse quicken significantly.
“Tommy? Do you trust me?” The beautiful demon asked.
Tommy trembled a little, but didn’t falter with his answer. “Yes.”
Adam lifted his other hand, nails black as the night, bringing it close to the boy’s face. Instantly, Tommy felt dizzy. Then, in a split of a second, his vision went black, as his consciousness left him.
But the blackness only lasted a few seconds. When he could see again, Adam was holding him tight, fangs lodged deep in his wrist, sucking his blood. It didn’t hurt; it felt good in a twisted way. It seemed that Adam had made him pass out momentarily, so that he wouldn’t be able to feel the actual bite.
Tommy started to speak.
“What?”
“Shhh,” Adam whispered against his wrist and kept on licking and sucking. “You’ve had a hard day. I wanted to make it easier for you.”
There was red all over his plump lips as he spoke. Tommy had never seen him like this, even though he’d been bitten three times already. The picture of Adam with blood on his lips, looking completely decadent. Like pure sin.
Tommy wanted to protest, to argue that Adam didn’t have to take the pain of a bite away. However, he lost all coherent thoughts as Adam started laving the puncture wounds with the tip of his tongue, lapping gently.
Soon, Adam stopped and quickly bit the tip of his own finger. Then he placed a few drops of blood on the open bite mark, healing it efficiently. As Adam licked all remaining traces of blood away from the skin of his wrist, Tommy soon found himself getting turned on. Why, oh why did biting cause so many reactions in his body?
Adam kissed Tommy. There was a hint of copper mixed with the sugary taste, and a fang crazed his bottom lip, but still, the kiss was inexplicably sweet and wet, loving.
“It’s almost dawn. Let’s go and get some sleep,” Adam murmured, caressing the back of the boy’s neck.
Tommy noticed they were alone now; everyone else had already retreated to the cabins. The yacht was travelling high speed, even though it was completely dark outside. The vessel probably had some kind of headlights, but Tommy still couldn’t understand how the extreme velocity was possible. Tommy could faintly see that the scenery had changed; they’d soon reach the coast.
They made their way through a door leading below the deck. Tommy held Adam’s hand as they took narrow steps down. Below the deck level, there was a hallway that led from the bow to the back of the boat. Tommy quickly counted 9 doors. There would most likely be more cabins on the other levels of the yacht.
Adam opened one of the doors on the left side of the hallway and Tommy followed him inside. The cabin was small but just as luxurious as the rest of the boat, fancy materials and expensive decorations everywhere. The colours were dark, lots of black and blue tones. Tommy noticed that his bags were lying next to the bed, safe and sound.
Adam closed the door, and before Tommy had time to move, he was pinned against the cabin wall. Tommy couldn’t believe how beautiful the man in front of him was. Adam’s baby blue eyes were staring at him as he cautiously touched the pale, smooth skin of his cheek.
Tommy really wanted to touch Adam this time. It also seemed that Adam could sense it.
Adam leaned against Tommy’s tentative touch, eyelashes fluttering, taking Tommy’s breath completely away. Then the dark angel dimmed the lights from a nearby switch and stripped them both of their clothing.
After that, Adam stopped moving. He just stood in front of Tommy, smiling tenderly at him, waiting for him to touch, to explore him like he wanted to.
The vampire was like a classic artwork, lean muscles and breathtaking features. Oh God, how could something so perfect even exist?
Tommy touched the smooth chest, running his hands shakily, worshipping the beauty in front of him. He was so nervous, but still, he really wanted to feel Adam’s soft skin beneath his calloused fingertips.
He began by touching every curve and valley. Then he leaned to kiss a nipple, his mind not sure if he was allowed to do that. Adam’s groan told him everything he needed to know.
Tommy looked at the huge cock jutting forward from between his legs, now fully erect, and felt an urge he’d never felt before. He wanted to feel it in his mouth. He wanted to taste if it was just as sweet as the rest of his angel.
“Can I?” Tommy muttered, searching for answers in the pale blue eyes.
“Anything you want,” Adam breathed.
Adam looked breathless. The long fangs descended again and his eyes took up that pale shade of silver-blue. Full lips parted, gasping, when Tommy went down on his knees.
He took him into his hand, ignoring the way his fingers shook a little. Tommy took in a deep breath before he leaned to touch the head of Adam’s cock with the tip of his tongue. He heard Adam’s sharp intake of breath.
He licked a bit more, finding the taste good, almost intoxicating. There was that unique taste again, a taste of a vampire, a taste of Adam. It was sweet, but yet so different. He started sucking at the head, doing what felt natural. He was sure he did everything wrong, but Adam moaned, pulling himself out of his mouth.
“That’s too good. Not going to last. Love, come here.” Adam breathed, pulling Tommy up gently.
Adam kissed him deeply, filling his senses with the venom. Tommy thought it was heaven, he felt like he was addicted to the sweet flavour of the poison.
“I won’t bite you again. Not tonight.” Adam whispered.
Tommy moved with Adam as they made their way over to the bed that stood in the corner of the room. As Tommy laid himself down on the soft mattress, Adam hovered above him for a moment, before bending down and licking a stripe up the length of Tommy’s hardness.
Tommy could not stop staring at him. It was mesmerizing, as the man with black hair and ivory skin lapped at the head of his cock. Those full lips and a pair of needle sharp fangs made his heart skip a beat. Tommy felt adrenaline, venom and pure love rush through his veins. Fuck… he was alive. He was so alive.
When Adam took him fully into his mouth, he couldn’t stop the loud moan that slipped from his lips. Adam’s pointed teeth were gently grazing his sensitive skin, teasing and arousing. It was too much, the pleasure something so monumental that it left him a whimpering, incoherent mess.
All of a sudden, there was a slick finger circling the tight ring of muscle in his ass. Tommy hadn’t noticed Adam getting the lube out from somewhere. There was a hint of pressure before the digit slid in, filling him gently.
“Adam!” Tommy breathed.
Soon there were two fingers, then three, massaging his sweet spot with deadly efficiency. He was going to come soon. He needed to come soon.
‘I’m gonna…’ was the only thing in his mind before Adam reacted.
“Not yet,” Adam told him, slipping his fingers out slowly.
His lover slicked his large erection liberally and then placed Tommy’s legs around his waist, taking a firm hold of his hips, keeping him from moving. When Adam lined up with Tommy’s hole and bent down to kiss him, Tommy spoke.
“I want to feel it. Without the venom,” he said quietly.
“Are you sure, my love? You’re still not used to this,” Adam reminded him.
Tommy really wanted to feel Adam sliding inside without the haze of venom. And no, he was not quite sure if he could handle it. Still, he wanted to try.
The slick head started inching its way in. It burned so that Tommy gasped, flinching a bit at the discomfort of being stretched too wide. As Adam’s cock pushed deeper, the stretching pain only intensified. Maybe it was too much. Or maybe he just needed to relax. Tommy began to panic, unable to decide if he should say something.
That was when Adam took back complete control. He kissed Tommy, sloppy, all tongue and fangs.
Instantly, the hurt began to fade, the ice wine-taste filling his mouth. Adam stopped moving as soon as he was completely buried inside.
“Relax into the venom. Let it do its job,” his lover soothed, before devouring the blonde’s lips again.
Tommy sucked greedily on Adam’s lips, relishing in the unbelievable softness and heavenly sweetness. After a moment had passed, the pain all but vanished, and instead there was a pleasant humming filling Tommy’s small frame and an overwhelming sensation of being filled.
Adam still wasn’t moving and Tommy grew impatient.
“Adam, please,” he begged, looking into the eyes that now shone icy-blue.
Adam started moving, slow and easy thrusts in and out, angled directly to brush against the boy’s prostate. He didn’t speed up at any point; he just kept up the soft rhythm of making love. Moaning, Tommy surrendered to the feeling, not wanting it to ever stop.
When Tommy finally came, untouched, he felt like the orgasm would never end. He was lost in a world of transcendental pleasure. Coming down from his high, he realised that he hadn’t passed out this time. Could the issue have something to do with the biting during sex?
Adam continued to thrust a couple more times before Tommy felt his cock twitch inside him, come filling his ass in cool jets.
Tommy couldn’t stop shaking. All the muscles in his body had melted away. Adam slipped out carefully, and disappeared into the bathroom, only to return with a warm washcloth. After Adam had cleaned them both, he slipped back into the bed, pulling the human close to his body.
The coolness of the immortal’s skin felt amazing, and he was sated, completely happy. Everything was perfect. But, would Adam be there in the bed, next to him, after a few hours of sleep? He hadn’t been there the last afternoon. Nor the afternoon before that. Suddenly, Tommy felt a twinge in his heart at the thought that he would wake up alone.
“No, I’m not going anywhere, my love,” Adam reassured him, reading his thoughts.
“I love you.” Tommy whispered, confessing his feelings.
“I love you too, Tommy Joe.”
Closing his eyes, Tommy fell asleep. Everything he needed was right there; all that he needed was Adam. There was nothing to be afraid of as he lay in the arms of the man he loved.
