And dude, I completely understrand how you have been feeling lately, I think we all have a tendency to get into a "rut". You'll get your drive of motivation and move out of it and begin to be even more focused on the next few months. I know there have been many times that it seems like all the shit is hitting the fan at once and it's fuckin hard to focus on the future when the past is still unsettled.
And as for the boyfriend thing, I hope you like this guy alot because it's only been a month and he's freaking out already. He should understand that you are very close to your friend and that it's his birthday. If your boyfriend can't carry his own conversation with the other people that were there then you need to RUN NOW!! I hate to be so blount and I especially hate giving relationship advice. SO just talk to him, if he can't sit down and rationally talk to you about this issue then you know that it's time to end it.

It's like who gives a fuck that hes going through some problems right now, let's just make him feel like shit, and then hide behind an annonymous name.
