Volunteer for Planned Parenthood!
We're looking for more Teen Clinic Volunteers all over the state. They are really pretty incredible positions, and the best part is that you would be trained by me!
We are looking for volunteers in:
Everett every other Thursday from 3-5 pm
Marysville every Tuesday from 2-4 pm
Monroe every other Tuesday from 1:30-4 pm
Olympia every Wednesday from 2-5 pm
Puyallup every Thursday from 1:30-4:30 pm
Shelton every Tuesday from 2-6 pm
Here is the information:
Primary Responsibilities: Do presentations and lead interactive games for teens in the patient waiting area at our free teen clinic. Educate teen clients about birth control methods and STD risk reduction. Answer questions and help teens feel welcome in the clinic setting.
Education: Must be a high school graduate
Experience: Must be comfortable working with teens, be articulate and have good public speaking skills. Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills required. Must be able to, with training, accurately convey information regarding birth control methods. Must be highly reliable with excellent organizational skills. Must be comfortable working with people of varying socioeconomic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and racial diversity.
