独りの旅 DAY 1

It's being a while since i wrote in livejournal and since i'm pretty free now (there's a reason for this), i thought i should post something here just to make sure it doesnt fail again as a blog. Even though i signed up for livejournal just so i can rip other people's uploads
It's Spring break and I finally reached New York! The time difference between NY and Madison seems to be 1 hr and NY is ahead of time. Okay, so i'm here at NY with ABSOLUTELY No plans...just 5 minutes i leave for my bus, i booked tickets for phantom, and then i realized that the electronic ticket doesnt come until like a few hours later...which means i have to print the ticket at perhaps NYU or something. I was early for the VanGaulder bus this time...i made sure of that by heading out half an hour earlier just so what happened last time does not repeat itself and then i found out that i wasnt that early because many people were there already...so i was simply just punctual which is not exactly a bad thing in a way. On the bus i saw Michelle and Candice. Amazing that there are actually people i know on the same bus as me heading to Chicago. It's a 3 hour bus trip and i can't really sleep at 5 pm in the afternoon, people around me are all sleeping but somehow i cant find the motivation to sleep so i decided to listen to some Alice Nine and play some Donut Games...and after 7 minutes or so, it crashed....like no kidding. I just head out on a spring break trip and my itouch has to crash at this critical time where i was critically bored! like how unlucky is that??!! and this is the second time it crashed and i decided that having more than 4 pages of applications is definitely a no-no for itouch cos the last time it crashed, i had about 4 pages of apps....this time too.zzzz so i guess a 8gb itouch is pretty unreliable..either that or i simply have a fare of getting electronic devices crashing. i just restored it a few seconds ago meaning i have no songs, no apps nothing in my itouch and i probably wont feel like downloading anything right now...
i managed to survive the boredom of the 3hour bus trip by watchin alice nine concerts on my laptop...even though apple's itouch betrayed me, my macbook's battery life managed to maintain about 50% of my faith in apple products. check in and stuff were pretty smooth since i had already checked in online and i realised that that is really easier than checking in on the day itself. you just need to enter confirmation number, check in baggage and u can enter. plus i was pretty early so there's not many people at the security check. i entered, got myself an iced mocha and head straight for the gate. i was pretty relaxed for the first time in a long while, cos for the first time, i was early for something. This semester, i was always late for classes and last semester i was pretty late for the bus to chicago during winter break. there's nothing much to do, i was pretty full and the only thing i wanted is to continue using my laptop to watch concerts and watever videos i have that i ripped from LJ users and communities in retrospect, it's a good thing i had the mocha cos it's gonna come in handy later on
the flight was delayed for unknown reasons...not surprising for this airline which i dont dare to mention because i might get sued but it seems that the airline always take into account of these "unknown" delays because the cabin crew said that they always estimate the time to be longer than it actually takes. still i reached behind time by about 10 minutes or so but that doesnt really matter much though
my dad's friend got me from the airport and i reached C.Hostel @ around 1243 am only to find out that there are no rooms available, even though i reserved way before hand and mentioned that i will be arriving on 27th march 00:00....did they think that 00:00 refers to 12pm??? because they told me that i was supposed to check in at 230 pm...haha? WTF!!! okay, so i have no room no bed...this trip is seeming to be very screwed right from the start...and oh yeah, i forgot to get a map from the airport since we(my dad's friend and I) were kinda in a rush and so i forgot all about it. hmmm so the guy at the reception get a temporary room with a temporary bed, and i have to come back before 12 noon to get my "real" room... well, fine by me, i dont really care right now...the hostel is pretty interesting that to access the rooms, u have to get out in the open (in the cold at this time of the year) and go to the rooms.... it's no wonder that this hostel is so cheap....okay, so the room is really dormitary like, kinda reminds me of the time i was in camp...there are 6 beds, in other words 3 double bunked bed...i was given one of the beds in that room...but the problem is that it's 1 am and there are other people sleeping there and it's dark and i have no idea which bed is occupied and which is not....i dont want to have to shine a light (i dont have one anyway) at people and see if the bed's occupied...so since it's already so pai sei to enter in the middle of the night, i just put down my suitcase and left with my bag with my laptop. i intend to stay up the entire night until 9 am...that's why i'm so free right now, that's why i'm so free, typing entries in livejournal when usually i'll probably be too busy or too unmotivated to do so....and the bad news is that i've nothing else to crap about and it's only 123 am meaning i have about 7 hrs47min to kill....zzz
and well, that's it...even though i mentioned day 1, there's probably not going to be a day 2 or 3 unless another emergency occurs where i have to stay up again...i hope that wont happen....
