And I thought BV was small

So here I am in my Motel 6 writing in my livejournal. I am on my farthest, and last, journey with PCA: in the teeny tiny where-the-church-is-not-even-recognized-as-an-address-by-mapquest town in Iowa. Treynor. Of course, no hotel exists there, so I am staying in the nearby city of Council Bluffs, IA. I am 7 hours away from home, and I drove here, by MYSELF. Who knew? I could prolly drive to VA if I really wanted to, I would just do it in two days rather than one like we did before. Ha, I know I measure everything by the distance to VA, can you tell I miss it?

So like I said, I am on my last journey for this company, I quit! It felt sooooo good to do it too! I wasn't happy, so I told them after this, I am leaving. I REALLY didn't want to come all this way, but I did. And it made it easier knowing I won't have to do it again. So we shall see where my next adventure lies...

Surprisingly though, small towns have big turnouts for pictures. I did 30 sittings yesterday! I haven't ever done that many in one day. And my body can feel it too. So we did very well in sales yesterday too. I guess there isn't much else to do, so everybody shows up. (Usually we have a few no shows each day which helps to break things up a bit, esp. if I fall behind -- easy to do when you've got families with children. Every family has a character who needs attention).

Oh, and did you know that Council Bluffs is where the Mormon pioneers camped out along their journey? There are signs around marking the Mormon trail. And who knows, maybe I'll meet someone that knows Elder Tyler Farr on Sunday, I think this area is in his mission.

Well, I better go get ready, if I want to have enough time to stop at the local Walmart before I go to work.
