Friday the 13th and it's the best day of the year so far!
The last few weeks have been hectic. Hillary's car has been in and out of the shop, costing her money, and me too, since it is my gas we are buring all week long, School has really picked up, and finding time to study, do homework, and write has become a task. I was looking forward to this weekend as a rest. A time to get caught up on work and get my thoughts in order. The last thing I expected was to recieve email from authorhouse with the beautiful desgin of our book!!!!
I would love to post it here, but I'm worried about copywrite laws so I won't. I would say it wasn't what I pictured, but I have never been able to visualize any kind of cover; I'm just too close to it. The one our designer sent was different, I guess, than what I expected. But I love it! The color, the background, the font, the dragon. It's just so incredible to see my name and the title on something like that!
It shouldn't take long now until I will be holding the first copy in my hands! We are curious too see what else the brilliant cover designer can do, so Hilla and I have requested some changes that will delay the process, but I imagine it shouldn't take as long this time, since she has something to work with.
EEEEEEE I can hardly wait!!
