Poetry (Yay, original writing ^-^)
Hey there guys ^-^
I wrote som poems a while back, that I thought I'd share with you :D
These carefree moments pass
Like a butterfly flitting from flower to tree.
We wish to catch them, spread our net.
Yet they always escape;
From our grasp,
Forever fluttering free.
This one was originally inspired by the academy days chapter ^-^ So, think of Renji, Izuru and Momo sat under a tree in the sun light, laughing and just being together while you read it.
As a poem, Time is about the fact that no matter how much you wish it, you can never stop time, never hold that one perfect moment for as long as you want to, because time will always move forward.
When with sorrow one must nest,
Try always to remember your best.
Don’t get lost among the lanes,
Channels and bogs,
Of memory’s fogs.
Remember yet a comforting hand.
There’s always someone,
Close by.
This one was the opposite to the last one. It was written with Izuru in mind ^-^ This is the last of my fandom ones, the rest are just poems with no-on specific in mind.
The meanign of this one is easy to see; that even when you're at your darkest moments, there's always a friend somewhere near that'll pull you out when you're ready.
Take an umbrella,
In case it rains.
Take a hat,
In case it shines.
Take a handkerchief,
In case it’s needed.
Uhh, you know I really don't know about this one. It was supposed to be about always being prepared for everything and that seemingly superficial things can make you feel better/protect you.
Sparrow, sparrow, I see you.
Flying up in that deep blue
When something nice you spy
Sparrow, sparrow, how you fly.
Sparrow, sparrow, with clipped wings
Sparrow, sparrow, no longer sings
And yet sparrow never forgets the feeling
Of soaring high in the world’s ceiling
Sparrow, sparrow, always hopes
Maybe I should follow you?
Sparrow is about freedom and how you should always strive towards it, like a caged bird who will always take the chance to fly away no matter how long it's been imprisoned. The bird never loses the hope that it will fly again; even if it does eventually stop expressing it, knowing it is futile.
Rainbow
Awe inspiring sight
Indescribable beauty
Never touchable
Belongs out of reach
Overtly symbolic
Wonderfully fake
Rainbow is about a symbol that once represented hope and joy and how that symbol has slowly changed to mean other things. Something that beautiful that isn't ever really there, which should be kept out of reach to avoid disappointment. You know when you see it that you can never actually touch it, but it makes you feel better anyway for having seen it.
Also, if you look closesly at the first letter of every line, there's something I find pretty neat ^-^ Most people don't notice it until it's pointed out XD
Fantasy corner
I sit quietly happy
Away from the world
A haiku ^-^ Describes what happens when I daydream or get lost in one of my books ^-^
Take up the blade and draw a line
Quick now, run and be in time
The thrill of the fight
The dark of the night
All rolls into one
The title of this one, Secrecy, might confuse people at first. It's not actually about battle, it's about an assasin. While he is paid to kill people, he still likes to give them a fighting chance against him when he meet them in a secluded place late at night.
Flashing, glinting
A thousand, all falling
Shattered, broken
Pretty in their death.
A bad sign, nonsense
You can see yourself.
Precious, worthless
At odds with itself.
Shining, deadly
Such a beauty in such pain.
