So very amused
So, the flat taichou has now is going to be relet for the next academic year (As we're living together next year from September =D).
This means that we periodically get people wandering around the flat to view it. We don't get rung up and told this is going to happen unless it's on a weekend. Unfortunately, the flat is currently a bit of a mess due to the pre-Expo madness. We've got wigs and bits of hair and sewing all over the place XD
So about ten minutes ago I was sat constructing cardboard triangles of hair for the spikes in my Zabi wig and there was a knock on the door. It was the club easy guy showing a woman around the flat.
I let them in and apologised profusely for the mess, which the guy was fine with, thankfully; explaining that we were going to London next weekend and we'd been a bit busy preparing for that. He said no worries and asked why we were going and I said "Oh, it's sort of like a fancy dress thing *points to Zabi wig*".
He turned around and said "Oh! Is it this cosplay thing?"
I stared at him intelligently for a moment or so and then managed; "Y-Yeah!." He then explained that there's another club easy tenant who's been making stuff for the May Expo, telling me how this guy has made his own sword from scratch and things like that.
And then continued with; "He's going as a guy from... Bleach, I think it was."
By this point, I just wanted to gigglefit. I grinned at him and said; "That's what we're going from!" and showed him my mostly-finished Zabi costume. He was actually quite impressed with our sewings and my wig XD
All in all, I'm now sat here incredibly amused because the landlord knew about cosplay XD
