Well Spring Break is basically over for me. Tonight my team leaves for Augusta for SERCS (our first regatta). The regatta is tomorrow morning, but we are staying at Kyle F.'s house tonight to avoid driving up to Aiken, SC at 3am. Nice.
I don't think I could have been any more unproductive this past week. Really. I set a new level of unproductiveness for myself. I've definitely caught up on my tv. Honestly, though, it was good to have a break from classes, even if I did get stuck alone in Atlanta. Matt and I got to spend some time together, which we never do anymore except maybe to catch lunch in between classes. After my doctor's appointment on Tuesday, I went over to his house for supper, then we went to see "Constantine" around 10. Quite an interesting movie, by the way. Yesterday evening I got stuck in Morrow after going to see Ashley for all of five minutes. I didn't want to drive all the way back home, so I went over to Matt's and we played video games for a few hours. Of course, the more time we spend together, the more I have to stress to him that we are just friends and that's not going to change any time soon.
How else was I unproductive? Oh yeah. I never made it to crew practice this week. Yes kids, the GSU Crew had practice over Spring Break. At 5am. From what I heard, not many people went. 12 on Monday, and 4 or 5 the rest of the week. My boat was on vacation so I figured I would just get stuck on land like usual and didn't want to get up at 4am for that. I did have to go today, though, so we could derig boats. That's always a fun practice. Stand around and do nothing for about an hour, maybe move some oars or a boat occasionally. There are enough people around so that not everyone has something to do. Okay by me though.
So today, let's see. I'm going to be a little more productive I think. I need to clean the apartment before I leave so Tien doesn't have a heart attack when she gets home. So I'll spend most of the day cleaning and packing for the weekend. Then it's off to the boathouse at 5:45 and I'll be home sometime tomorrow night. Wish us luck this weekend! Hopefully we'll do okay. Well, it'll be a learning experience for the whole team, I'm sure. Cheers!
