i overheard some girls today saying that dave chappelle made the worst mistake anyone could ever make since he turned down $50 million. they also said that they can't watch his show anymore because of this.
am i the only person who, being a huge dave chappelle originally, respects him MORE for doing that? it shows that he's truly a good person, who cares more about being happy and getting his comedy across in the way he wants than getting paid for it. it shows that his priority is making people laugh, not to just get rich doing it.
