tuesday the 8th - went with meggie & jessi to see mike piazza's return to shea. fucking amazing. words can't even describe how i felt seeing him back there. new york loves him.
wednesday the 9th - went to see talledega nights again with jenn & kate! haha love that movie. then we went to jfk and played on the swings for a little bit because we're cute like that.
thursday the 10th - ????
friday the 11th - ate japanese food with meggie, allison, and kathleen, which was fun due to one long interesting conversation. then we decided to go the beach where we got a TICKET for being on the beach after hours, which was just about the funniest thing EVER. haha. we made up interesting scenarios, such as - "but officer, we thought our naked bodies would blend in with the sand!" "go 20 feet in front of the car. now bend over and say my name!" "WRITERRR!" hahahahaha<3333 and of course, "if i see the amato sisters were here last year or 5 years ago - that ticket goes out tomorrow morning after my coffee and my shit."
saturday the 12th - bowling / applebees with jen & bre, which was good because i hadn't seen them in sooo long
sunday the 13th - went to see john tucker must die with jessi! it was a good movie, but i didnt like certain things about it. then she came back to my house where we played board games with meggie. haha
monday the 14th - during the day i went to the beach with jessi, and then nyc with jen & bre to see MAE. MAE IS FUCKING AMAZING LIVE. the only bands better are U2 and Say Anything. but mae blew me away. when they're playing you can tell they truly love what they do and love entertaining everyone. they're music is so original and beautiful and i could go on and on about how much i love them.
tuesday the 15th - went with mike to play pool, where i beat him 3 times.. kinda haha.. we came back to my house to watch V for Vendetta, and jenn called so she joined us. =).. then i kicked mike's ass in spit. HA! and we forced him to watch the babysitter's club until 2am, even though he had work at 7. hah
wednesday the 16th - played pool with kate & joe, and then we went to applebees.. good times.
tonight i'm going to see steely dan at jones beach with my daddy, meggie, and royce.
i'm leaving for school in 9 days. i'm really really really really excited and i've decided to put my fears aside and just have the best time possible. things will work out the way they're meant too, and there's nothing i can do to change that. i'll try to have control over the things i really care about, but some things are inevitable and i can't control how some things work out. so we'll see.
