It seems I've found few interesting things lately. Some are a little unconventional, so I think asking over the journals about finding them new homes is the best bet.

First off is something that found me. Pretty sure I know the home this one belongs in, though. Bastet, you wouldn't happen to be missing something furry, would you ( Read more... )

[Oh-ho!]

Is there a small piece of a red rope stuck on the metal piece you found?

There is, actually. Part of why I adopted the 'keychain' theory.

I'm guessing it sounds familiar?

It is... in fact, I already have three others. I think it is a set belonging to my sword.

Can I buy it from you?

Belonging to a sword, huh? Like a decorative element or something?

Sure. I recognize your writing, but I'm blanking on the name. You're the guy who owns the tea shop, right?

Something similar, perhaps. It doesn't seem to work without them.

That's right. I'm Koi.

'Work'? I never use swords, but I thought there wasn't much more to 'working' them than sticking them into things.

Ah, right, I do recognize the name. It can be a little hard to keep track with all the people coming and going.

I think I'll pop by that tea shop of yours to drop this off. Is there a time that's best for you?

Well, a broken sword is a broken sword, even if it's just missing some charms. You never know what kind of weapon you might have used back home.

It would be impossible to remember everyone.

Thank you, that's very kind. What would you like for your trouble?

[ooc: Handwave? /sucks at logs]

I'll take your word on that one. I guess I can see how that'd throw you off if you were used to a certain amount of weight hanging off the end.

Well, it's just a small thing. If I can get a strong cup of tea and maybe some biscuits when I swing by, I think we can call it square.

((ooc: Works for me.))

That makes sense, yes.

Of course! That would be common courtesy, since you're so kind to bring it over.
