☆007-How many lives are living strange?

Feb 28, 2010 20:43

I have a question: is anyone familiar with someone named Supernova? I had a little run-in with her the other night and thought I'd ask around.

((ooc: In the interest of pacing for plotly reasons, I'm going to request that no one make the supernova=stardust connection.))

A woman with a pointy stick? I knew you weren't bad looking, but I didn't realize you were that popular.

[OH YOU.]

This is the sort of popularity I could do without, honestly.

[WHAT ARE FRIENDS FOR?]

Young women coming to fetch you to go "change the world" with them? Sounds exciting to me.

[JOURNAL STALKING, OF COURSE. Gene does it, too.]

Aha, exciting is one way to put it. Would've been easier to deal with if she wasn't so excitable.

[And you know, stalking in general.]

Really now? You sure she wasn't the mother of some lovely young thing or other? [PROJECTING HIS BAD HABITS WHAT.]

Far too young for that. She would have counted as 'some lovely young thing' had it not been for the violent tendencies and crazy talk. That really took away from the 'lovely' part.

Who knows what goes on in the minds of women.

I take it you aren't secretly bleeding out in a gutter somewhere bantering on the journals until the bitter end.

Not I, apparently.

Ha, I could almost see myself doing that, but luckily no. Which means I got off a hell of a lot easier than most these past few days, that much I do know.

If there is a man that knows, he certainly isn't sharing,

Good to hear. It'd be a bit of an effort to figure out how to come find you at the moment. It's almost a blessing this has been keeping me inside, really.

He could make a killing off of book sales if he wrote it down.

Can't argue with the blessing bit. Need any company since you're stuck inside?

Or find himself belly up in a river with the manuscript mysterious missing before it ever got published.

I'll never object to your company, if you don't mind fetching me off the ceiling now and again. Though are you sure you can make it all the way over here without getting assaulted by any more lovely ladies? It's always possible the current oddness has affected you with the unconscious ability to enrage pretty girls.

Such is the burden of sharing sensitive information, I suppose. Gotta be careful with that sort of thing.

I wouldn't mind it. If nothing else, it'd be a unique way to pass the afternoon.

That would be a terrible side effect. And here I thought the Sphere was going to stop at the new duds. In any case, I'll try to make it over in one piece.
