☆006-Between the half and the half nots.

Y'know, I've got nothing against the auction itself. Hell, it's a fun little idea. A good time had by all, etc, etc.

There's just one little thing.

Two-for-one deal? Really?

I'd ask if this was a joke, but if it is, it looks like one that it's too late to take back.

Well, maybe they can split you up if there's a bidding war.

Well, that's one way to deal with a tie-breaker, true.

It's not that terrible, is it? I think it'd make for an interesting date, really.

It's... the principle of the thing.

[There are too many reasons why it bothers him, not all of which he remembers but if she asks he'll elaborate. Or try to.]

Principle?

[Draws a line to his conversation with Rogue.]

That hits on a lot of the points. We're not just some novelty unit.

Not to mention, going on a 'date' where you not only have family there, but have to share with them is nothing short of odd.

Oh--I didn't think about it that way. Someone would have to be pretty silly not to see that you're different people, though.

[Imagines going on a date accompanied by Sailormoon... well, that'd be awkward but manageable.

...Imagines going on a date with her Grandpa there...]

Okay, I think maybe I can see your point on that one.

Can't argue with that.

Heh, glad I could clarify, then.

Look on the bright side--you can both defend each others' honor if things start going downhill?

That would be assuming I have any honour to defend in the first place.

But if it turns out I do, I'm pretty sure I'm capable of defending myself.
