Oh, right. Maybe you haven't heard yet. Those tears have been showing up in the Scavengers' Yard for a while now. At least a couple of weeks. People have tried to throw things into them, but it seems whatever goes in doesn't come out on the other side.
Materia wrote about them just days after you disappeared, actually. I'm really not sure how time works on the Fourth Floor, but there does seem to be a connection.
There's really no telling when it might have turned up since I didn't go into the room the rip was in until right before I got back. Still, I agree, it's close enough that it can't be a coincidence.

I don't want to even suggest it, but are they moving up, or down? They look a bit like those tears that appeared in some of the Wildernesses, except there's nothing on the other side.
Between floors? I don't know. But I think it's interesting that it's the bottom two floors. I suppose it's possible they started from the Wilderness and are working their way down. But if that's the case, why wouldn't the rips still be in the Wilderness?
I'm not sure, but I do know who the three bottom floors belong to. And if they are slipping, too... I don't know what that suggests, but nothing good, that's for certain.

Not particularly, no. But with everything in place there's at least a sort of... tug-of-war balance. If one side yanks the other forward, I can't help feeling we'll all be dragged through the mud.
The rips in the air are on the fourth floor now, too? That doesn't sound good.

...No, no it doesn't. You wouldn't mind telling me where else we've been getting rips like that, would you?

Either way, that doesn't sound promising.

It isn't. I have to agree.
