(no subject)
ive been an only child for the past couple of days. my brother was at camp all week, and my sister is in vermont. i believe she said she was going to a pig roast with her boyfriend. a pig roast.
so.
i learned how to tie a necktie yesterday. i was quite proud of myself. not that i would ever use this wierd knowledge, but its one of those cool wacky things a person is supposed to know. anyway, then i discovered that people knit ties and consider it fashionable. so...dun dun dun. i stayed up rather late last night knitting a tie. its pink. im a sucker for pink ties. spongebob could walk up to me in a pink tie, and i think i might marry him.
this morning i skipped over to west gardiner (my Pilgrim Lodge, its so special, it gets capitalized) to visit the love of my life, kiley wilkens. it was the last day for senior week, and we had to pick up my brother anyway. it was awesome to see everyone again, i had missed all of my fall convention buddies...i kind of regret signing up for arts alive now, i miss everyone. but i will see some of my fellow manitou survivors july 24th. literally about half of my youth group is going to that week, so that should be interesting.
and then of course when i go to drop off my cousin at the island camp on july 3rd, i have decided that i will be stowed away in one of the canoes, then discreetly smuggled into a tent, hiding until all the canoes have gone back to the mainland, so that they wont have a chance to bring me back until the end of the week. that way i will get to see andy, jess, lela and of course kiley, and all of the awesome people that go to PL. this is my evil plan.
then kiley announced that she is going to hollow out the space beneath the main lodge, turn it into a fully furnished apartment with cable tv and specifically a toaster oven, and live there year-round. and there are plenty of trees to choose from, i could live in any one of them. so everyone is happy. and we could have cool visitors all the time.
wow, i think im done. i have had a relatively great day so far. i think i will go running later tonight if and when the temperature settles down. then i have to finish knitting this tie. and i have to make a gift for sandy. maybe ill give her the pink tie. just kidding, she might shoot me. good bye for now.
