I awoke yesterday morning, to a broken window in my car. Once again, CrackCouver is showing it's stripes. I was in a fairly good mood prior to this. I don't have the funding until next month to replace the window, until next month. So, it's going into drydock, until such time as the refitting can be done. Should it be possible, I'll replace the fender, door & window at the same time, since it will all be dismantled anyway. Also, it decided to rain last night, so there's a towel on my seat.
My plan today, was to drive my pickup in. I moved my car out of the way, onto the street, and only then found the battery is dead in my truck. I put the car back into the driveway, and jumped started the truck. However, the truck refuses to recharge the battery sufficiently. I drove the car into work, minus the window, in the misty rain.
Once I arrived at work, 23.5 miles later, and 25 minutes late, I opened my trunk, only to come to the realization, that my computer was behind the seat of my truck, where I'd put it, before finding the truck disabled.
This morning, I drove 72 miles, total commute, and arrived over an hour out of sync. There goes lunch.
On a side note: I'm having to order my bicycles tires from LONDON! perhaps I should call them "Tyres", in honor of their heritage.
