oh hey internet

I forgot to update, my bad.  I have to remind myself to use this dang journal from time to time.  I guess on some level I view updating as work since it involves typing and stringing together thoughts all up in my head.  I've been using my free time to play Battlefield 2142, lately.  That requires absolutely zero thought at all.  I love thinking as much as the next guy, but during school I use my free time to indulge in anything but.  My thought process in Battlefield pretty much runs along the lines of "hit affirmative," and "kill that guy," not necessarily in that order.  But the two, used in perfect combination, mean you'll excel in the game.

If I see an enemy, I typically opt for the "kill that guy" option.  Usually it works, sans the times "that guy" doesn't want to be killed and executes the "kill that guy" function on me before I can do it to him.  Sometimes I round a corner and my teammate is running at me.  I don't like being ran at in Battlefield, so in those scenarios I go for the "kill that guy" option as well.  And then, immediately after "that guy" says "wtf Caronbot!?" I revive him with my defibrillator and take the "hit affirmative" route.  Typically you'll be forgiven.  Because the EU team's affirmative is a charming Australian-esque gentleman that sounds like Chase from House M.D.  He says one of two things "Acknowledged" or "Right-o!"  I love the "Right-o" option, because you can blast a teammate right in the face and they'll be all "I should forgive Caronbot" when I use it.  Whenever my squad leader issues an order, I go with the "hit affirmative" option unless there are bad-guys nearby and I have the chance to pull some "kill that guy"s out on the other team.  I'll hit affirmative even if I have no intention of doing what my leader said, it makes me seem on top of things, and I like being on top (of the bitches, is the end of that sentence! mirite d00dz haw haw haw *shocker*)

In the past couple weeks I've knocked out some killer papers in addition to doing a lot of "hit affirmative" and "kill that guy."  I took two seminar classes for my double major this semester and finished the 20-pagers from each.  I had a 10-pager due in my Lit class, a tiny 3-pager due in my Chesapeake Bay class, etc.  This was all due at about the same time, about a week difference between the two 20-pagers.  I was swamped with work, but I had plenty of time to keep it real.  I always do.

Not much else.  Been hangin with Birk a lot, and I hung out with
guremegami a couple times too.  She is going to be on The Price is Right on either the 22nd or 23rd.  So watch it if you want!  Or don't, I don't care!  She punched me for winning a single mini-game in Mario Party.  She punched me hard too.  This wasn't one of those friendly "oh you" punches, this was a "kill that guy" punch.  I ended up losing the game too!

Tonight is a drinking night to celebrate the end of the semester.  I still have one final to go on Monday morning, but I have all Sunday to study, and for some reason I want to drink tonight.  That urge will be killed in no time once I show up at the apartment and everyone there is boring and obnoxious, but hey, worth a shot.  If all else fails I can drive back home when I'm sober and do some "kill that guy."
