To be honest I'm no psych student, but I took a 'critical theory to cultural studies' course last semester, and people-watching has always kinda fascinated me. (That sounds so creepy of me.) So I'm glad other people love this kinda stuff too.
That's true I guess, Jack doesn't strike me as the bookish genius, but he seemed to fit the idea of a deviant genius, who could be arrogant and maybe take things too far?

ahaha, so some humbling is definitely in order.

This is even better than the first chapter :) I love how Jack explains everything to the bouncer (Zack, nice touch). Damn he's a psychologist in the making. I've just fallen in love with the character and his wit. It seriously made me smile. They way he just bounces off the other characters, his intelligence empowering him. Also it's not like you dumbed down the other characters in order to make Jack seem more intelligent; Jack just is. Is it weird that im jumping to a House type character in my head? (I hope you watch House, otherwise imma look very stupid)

I just know I'm going to love the chemistry in this, Jack's cockiness against any other type of person is just going to be wonderful to watch/read.

ahaha thanks! :) Chapters one and two were actually going to be one chapter, but lj was saying all this stuff about it being too long of a post?...

I'm afraid Zack being a bouncer is so cliche! So I tried giving him some depth, I really don't want any one of the characters to seem 'dumb' in comparison.

I do know the show! ahaha, that's kinda what I was going for. I was watching a 'Criminal Minds' marathon the other day, and I was like 'hmmm, I want a character than can profile people just by looking at them.' So that's how the whole articulating started.

Mmmm, to be honest Alex's character isn't so clear cut for me yet. But Jack's cockiness is going to be key.

Oh, I've never had the problem before but it's always a good sign. I usually find the more you write the better it is? And I know thats really dumb, but it always feels like theres been a better thought process through the story and the descriptive elements are a million times better.

Nah, not at all. You've got to have writers freewill.. or something haha. No, as I said before no one came across as dumbed down.

I've just read the first two chapters and I'm officially in love with this story. I've been always interested in philosophy and psychology and this is truly amazing. I love you for this idea.
And Jacks character....all the cockiness and the way he's thinking...
