Gee, this running thing is really great for my live journal and my emails. I go running in the morning and on the way back I stop up by second floor, email and update. Its a marvelous system. And the best thing about it is that I have my whole family convinced that I go running for two hours a day--heeheehee. Oh the weather recently has been sooooo wonderful, I am so afraid I am being set up for a huge disappointment though. School will start, and the weather will turn sour. The thought fills me with dismay.
oh, speaking of dismay--I went to a movie last night. I really was under the impression that everyone said I would love elf. hmmmm.... sadly they were mistaken. With the obviously cheap north pole set and the cheesy laughs, well, it was sadly, not as engaging as I had hoped. After movies like Pirates and lotr, I had thought movies were on an uphill track, apparently not so. Why must movies go for the obvious, ugh, its just bad bad acting. oh, it was so horrible, well, actually now I am thinking of Peter pan too. But at least that one had a gorgeous set to look at while you were squirming in your seat from the horrible script and the worse acting. i just feel bad for the people sitting around us, we laughed at all of the would be dramatic parts and cringed at all of the 'sweet' parts. Oh it was miserable--well there was one good line*(check quote of the day) but then again there was that horrible ten minute sequence where they chant "I do believe in fairies, I do, I do" Oh, I cannot explain the utter patheticness of it. And the random old woman in the bathtub, number one, way too much lipstick, number two--WHY?? But the entire experience was rather amusing, including the three minute bathroom conference--"well they already saw us walk in, do we go into the other movie, ask, darn, we shouldn't have come in here, do we wait long enough to make them think we actually had to make a bathroom trip" The scrapes we get in......someday I'm sure we'll get over it and become dignified graceful adults. On the other hand, somehow I think we will just end up getting into bigger and bigger scrapes as we get older, and we have Brother Yates to thank for that concept--"Where's Aunt Babe?--She's lying down over there in that coffin."

Yikes--lest I want my parents to think that I run for three hours I had better be on my way.

Quote of the day: But what shall my duties be? I can't be expected to pillage!

Runner up: That's what he wore when he was a woman. Huh....thats what I wore when I was a man....
