the new years thing
everyone's posting their hopeful happy thoughts for this new year so I figure I should hop slightly onto the bandwagon. I'm really just holding the bumper, dragging along bah humbugging. WHATEVER NEW YEAR. It's all the same, same continuation of time. Problems from december 31st are still problems after midnight, it's no fresh start. It's all the same. I don't think I ever really understood new years, new years resolutions and the whole bit. It's just people trying to make themselves feel lighter and give themselves a refresher. I couldn't put all my mistakes behind me all of 2007 but NOW, NOW that it's no longer 2007, those mistakes no longer matter. I guess I live too day to day.
