Just back from Jasper - too much fun. Now I'm just waiting for 4:30 - then on to pick up my girls. There's a ton of stuff I have to do. It amazes me that my mother used to have to do all this. Well, maybe not - she was a stay at home mother so she had some more time than I do! I guess it's all about scheduling and preparation :o) I'm working on it!
I have found that I really need some fellowship and bible study with other people. Sometimes I kind of feel lost. I thought that maybe in the near future we can do small group bible studies at people's houses but I'm not sure how that would work. I have a few books that I'm reading right now - but somehow, I never actually completely finish them. Not sure why I do that but that is the way it goes with me!
I was hoping I'd be ready to do something for Chinese New Year. But it's coming up too soon and I won't have time to prepare for a Chinese party. I saw that Oriental Trading Company had a ton of chinese lanterns, red envelopes, chop sticks and take-out boxes that would be so cute! I'll still plan on it - but will wait until Debbie can come and have fun with us.
The San Diego trip is off :o( The Dept of Interior cancelled the trip for all agencies. That's okay with me.. I was torn. I wanted to go but wanted my family to come with me. Since they couldn't come, then I would rather stay at home with them.
Okay random list of things I want to do:
-have another "photo" date with Nick. We go to dinner and he takes me to different places to take pics!
-go to the McWane Center.
-go to the Atlanta Aquarium.
-go camping! soon!
-finish reading one book of my choosing.
-finish washing all of my clothes and GET ORGANIZED (yuck).
-cook a meal that the kids and Nick GUSH over (haven't done that in a LONG time!).
-hang out with my friends.
-be brave and balance my checkbook.
-cuddle with my honey and listen to his heartbeat.
-and I really can't wait to go to the Glasgow's lake house and sit on the porch and talk.
I can think of more believe me! But I'm daydreaming here at the office.
God bless!
