i think thursday night was the first time i've sat down and watched
The Godfather III
from start to finish. well it is kinda long.
i know it's not held in the same regard as its younger brothers but its still a good watch. the last hour and a half or so is brilliant. especially how they tell the last half hour through the opera. and the final scene, or second to final scene. and Pacino screams in agony when his (sorry michael's) daughter is murdered. you can feel it ... awesome (not in like the 'dude' way but just awesome).
met up with Kevin for a few drinks after work, and then joined the gang, before heading upstairs to see Ashling who's just returned from New York. there was a good gang out, unusual for a friday, oh and jen and sue. didn't seem too difficult last night ... for once it seemed like she seemed more reluctant to say goodbye to me than i was. well i think.
only a week left at home before returning to college and moving back across the city. looking forward to a change of scenery and meeting up with the gang again. and will help clear my head out totally
