I like this very much. I've just started watching Dollhouse, and I like the secret that Topher is keeping from Claire/Whiskey. It gives the characters both a little something extra. Besides, I like Topher's softer side about her. It's interesting and sweet.

But. . . Alpha/Whiskey. . .? Now, that could be interesting. Granted, Alpha was obsessed with Echo, but Alan/Amy had great chemistry. Oh, hell. . . they both have great chemistry with anyone. But, you get my point.

Oh, you just started watching? Wow, that's great, the show needs more fans. I totally agree on all counts regarding Topher about Claire/Whiskey. It just makes them sooooo wonderful.

I WANT TO WRITE AN ALPHA/WHISKEY. Actually, this fic started out as me trying to figure out how to write one of those (but like all things...it turned into Topher/Claire, =D). They seriously do have great chemistry with anyone and yes, I get your point. I'll write you an Alpha/Whiskey someday, I promise. I'm glad you liked this fic though!

Yep, I watched it over three days. And then wrote a huge review over at my journal. You know, I still don't know if I liked the show as a whole, but I do know I liked Topher, Whiskey/Claire, Alpha with Whiskey and a few other characters/storylines.

I really do sense that Topher's heart was breaking when he saw that she may have read her file, but then broke even more when she: said she didn't and that she hated him. :( Because, maybe he did program her to hate him out of guilt, but may he didn't.

I think there must be an Alpha/Whiskey fic. I just keep going back to the line that Alpha's Handler said: about Whiskey being a "bad influence" on Alpha. It made me think they often hung around each other/were paired together before Echo came alone. (Can you tell I really disliked Alpha's obsession with Echo?)

I saw your review and a lot of it makes sense (in fact, most of the pros and most of the cons actually fit why I love and hate the show. Only difference is that in the end, I love this show despite the flaws). The show on a whole is great with a ton of kinks. Let's hope that Fox lets them work out said kinks (LIKE MAKING IT LESS-ECHO FOCUSED) with a second season.
I think we could all see him breaking in that scene. I mean, Fran Kranz really proved his range with "Omega".
I haven't seen any real Alpha/Whiskey ones out there but here's to hoping that they'll be around (yeah, I couldn't tell, XD. I hate his obsession too...they turned the entire show into a Mary Sue fest with the Echo-Ballard-Alpha crap).

LIKE MAKING IT LESS-ECHO FOCUSED

I'm glad so many people agree with that. I was afraid I'd get slammed, but it seems that 6 out of 10 agree that the show focuses on Echo (and Ballard) way too much.

I want more Topher/Claire (Whiskey) stuff. I'm just worried, because it seems like Amy got a new pilot (not sure if it was picked up), and it seems that Dollhouse got a 13 episode run for a season two. [Side note: is it too much to hope they also give TSCC 13 episodes? Each show gets half a season, making one year of programming. Come on, FOX, all the other networks are renewing their worst shows. I'm guessing all the new pilots sucked.) I loved Fran Kranz in those scenes and I want to see what happens next.

I think, that, at some point, someone has to write something with Alpha and Whiskey.

I hate his obsession too...they turned the entire show into a Mary Sue fest with the Echo-Ballard-Alpha crapYES! And, as I wrote in my review - it really makes this seem like a vanity project for Eliza D., because of all the males obsessed ( ... )
