An Entry that's kind of Everywhere.
On the second day of Chanukah, my true love gave to me...slugs migrating inside a tent.
BWAHAHA~!
Also, lentil soup.
This morning, driving into school, I had a pretty cool idea for a scene in Meat Puppet, where Applechikkin goes on an extended rant about revenge, and how heroes in movies are DOING IT WRONG. He and Scourge watch this made-for-TV fantasy movie about going on a revenge quest because the main character's love interest was killed by the bad guy, and at the end he doesn't kill the bad guy because of some sort of virtue complex.
It's kind of a beautiful rant. I'm looking forward to drawing it. I think he gets up and starts pacing halfway through. It's intense.
Annnd now, I have to work on my "comparative critique" thing. I'm a bit confused. I got back my critique, and the notes say that I'm not supposed to argue content. But in one of her examples, she was talking about contrasting the content of the two articles we're doing. I have no clue what she wants! I can't have an opinion, and yet I have to have an opinion. I can't argue content, but I need to argue content in order to write anything at all. I have to provide support for every single sentence I write ever. When this is done, I want to retire and only write fiction for the rest of my life. Or, fiction and this sort of thing. Dear gods.
English class doesn't get along well with me feeling inspired about my comic, but these days I mostly feel inspired during English class. I need to finish knitting my laptop cozy and bring Motsu in so I can work on my script during study periods. (When I'm not studying, eh heh heh...)
Okay, I think I'm done rambling now. I'll go uh...attempt to work on my paper/procrastinate/both?
