I think its safe to say the season is over..
Its funny, cause this has by far been the least "snowiest" winter I've ever expierenced, yet I've had the most fun and most days on the hill out of any other season I've been through. It has been a really fricken awesome winter, so many good things that happened. Lots o fun times. Lets recap.
-Ski Club itself was aight. I guess just the usual 8 days of ski club, but whatevs.
-3 contests entered, well technically 2. The third one I got screwed on, but its alright. Holiday's rail comp was really great, defently had an awesome time them.
-Rode with a whole different crew this year. Met all the Elicottville locals and park crew, they are some really funny and awesome guys, talented too. Started to get hookups at the lodges like free food and whatnot.
-Rode a lot on my own as well, which is actually pretty fun. Its just nice and mellow to ride alone and just do my own thing.
-Got trapped in Ellicottville for 3 days, but was amazing. Most powder I have ever rode in my life. Knee-deep, rooster tails and all.
-Skipping school to go down and shred in 50° weather with the park crew.
-new sponsership by pyknicwear, thanks kelly and roomate for that one.
-Learned so many new tricks, can't even count.
-First street ledge, pretty big to, down-flat-down-flat-down
-Constant progression.
-Tons of laughs and just plain ol' great times.
All in all, this season was awesome, it really was. I met so many new people and had so much fun. I cannot wait till next season, I just hope theres more snow...
Easter is this weekend. Not really to big of a holiday, but thats ok. I still get to have a great big dinner with my family. Oh and this year Kelly will be there. :-) Shes the best. I'm really, really happy I'm with her. It will be 9 months tommorrow. I'm just really glad and happy that we are still together. I couldn't possibly ask for more.
