it's our company christmas party today so while waiting for the time let me just take this opportunity to post again here. as usual i've been keeping myself busy watching kdramas lately so might as well post about them. but since i haven't posted for quite some time already you might find some of the dramas "old" already. anyways, for those who haven't watched these dramas yet here's a warning: SPOILER ALERT!
CITY HUNTER
my impression of this drama? it's purely lee min ho. i dunno if i'm biased but min ho is daebak in this drama. everytime i see him on screen, it's like he's strutting his stuff on the runway. everything looks good on him! and i love his outfits here (^_^)p i loved him in Personal Taste but i love him more here.
i also liked the action scenes here. it's like watching a hollywood action film in my opinion. plus it made min ho look like a really cool guy! the story was quite heavy though but the casts' acting was commendable (especially Prosecutor Kim Young Joo and Lee Jin Pyo). but like any other kdramas, i thought the ending was too plain for my taste & there were some scenes that seemed absurd or too unrealistic. but overall, the action, the acting, the twists/plot, the moral lessons and of course, the eye-candy more than made up for it ;-)
STILL MARRY ME
this drama is for all the single ladies out there. when i watched the first few episodes of this drama, i thought it was boring. but after continuing i found myself gradually being hooked to it...especially after seeing myself in each of the female characters. i guess this drama gives hope to all the single ladies out there who feels like they're already running out of time.
what i especially liked about this drama are the "words of wisdom" imparted by each character. there were moments when i thought "i also said those exact same words". and since each of the ladies have their own personalities/outlook towards life & marriage one can definitely relate to this drama.
another thing i love about this drama...kim beom!!! he such a cutieeeeee!!!! i just love it when he flashes his killer smile that shows his dimples. and i really liked how sweet & matured his character is. if all young boys were as matured as his character, i wouldn't mind having a boyfriend 10 yrs my junior...lol
SPY MYUNG WOL
this is yet another drama that i thought was boring in the beginning. i didn't like eric (heck, i even thought he looked weird in the first few episodes) and i really didn't think han ye seul was pretty. but as the story progresses kang woo grew on me & i found him cute & funny (my friend & i found eric's way of saying "mwoya" funny). i have this fettish about guys pretending that they hate the girl but eventually falls head over heels for them.
storywise, spy myung wol's story is relatively plain. i wouldn't rate this along secret garden or full house (i didn't even like their ending) but i also enjoyed watching this. it gave me that feeling of giddiness, the fun & excitement of being in love and even the pain of loving someone. and if you ask me what my fave scene here was, it has to be that scene where they supposedly shot the ending scene of kang woo & myung wol's drama. i guess that's what started it all ;-)
will just post part 2 next time...
