"Return Service Requested" ~Thomas College~
Today was a good day, number one, because it was nice and hot and appropriate for a July summer day, and number two because I got to hang out with Alicia and Sarah instead of bumming around the house and drinking with my parents. (Not that that's a bad thing... it just gets old after a while). :P Alicia Imed me this morning and originally the plans were to go swimming at the lake. However, Sarah said we could swim at her (uncle's?) pool, so we decided to do that instead. It was a BLAST! We had a floaty war and then squirted eachother with hollow floaty noodles, and then just kind of floated there and talked about all things girly. (Wow! That's a lot of floating!) Sarah's cousins were there too, and they were all adorable. We even got a musical performance from a couple of the little girls.
After we went swimming, we ate Alicia's Combos (cheese filled pretzels???) and headed into Newport. Once there, we couldn't figure out exactly what to do next, so we went for a walk around town. It was really long, and Alicia pretty much power walked the entire way. I did feel really good about myself though... tired, but good. :D
Hopefully tomorrow I can hang out with Eburr... she's working until 2, so if she's up to it she's going to call and we might watch a movie over at Maggie's. We'll see!
