Supervisor got in late...which means he'll be staying later. He's also got his three year old son in with him. Which means I'll be listening to that most of the day since it looks like they're settling in for the day. He said that grandma needed a break

At one hospital where I worked, a particular OB/GYN would bring his kid with him when he made rounds. I thought it was so inappropriate. You don't round on post partum women with a 5 year old boy. The women don't want to tell you about their sore ass or sore nipples in front of your kid. You also shouldn't expect busy nurses to keep track of said kid either.
