Drabble Meme - Serenity
I thought the meme that idiot_rebellion posted was cute: Write a drabble (100 words exactly) based on your current default icon. No changing it! Just write it as it comes; no beta-reading or mulling over. Any fandom or no fandom at all.
So here's my contribution....
Rose collapsed in an exhausted heap by the Doctor. By her estimation he was due for his next regeneration, and she was more than happy to oblige.
Preferably the next him would have an oh-so-impressive brain that actually connected to his mouth, wouldn’t insult the ruling class of yet another planet, resulting in their running like their heads depended on it.
As Rose’s thoughts turned to physical traits she’d prefer on the next model of Doctor, she was silenced by the view above her.
Moonlight dappled the silver bark of the branches above her, and Rose’s resolve melted into peace.
