Unexpected!Owen
Cam and I went to see Penelope yesterday, and imagine our suprise when Burn Gorman pops up playing a reporter. Cam was totally excited (he's been allowed to watch 2 of the "clean" Torchwood episodes), but didn't like his American accent. In Cam's words, "He sounds like he's got something in his throat, Mom". LOL!
Otherwise, Penelope was a cute little fairytale. Good for the kids, but enjoyable for the parents, too. Did I mention that James MacAvoy is the male lead? Hawt!!!
I also watched Run, Fatboy, Run last night, SImon Pegg's new film. It was just too funny! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Pegg-induced laugh. Hank Azaria was funny, as always, but I absolutely adored Dylan Moran. He and Pegg had me absolutely rolling at several points.
The SO is currently watching American Gangster. I'm sure it's an excellent movie, but so far it seems painfully slow.
