Waiting
I think this so far is the best day of my holiday. It's been relaxed, we've called the shots, and I've felt the least ill. Hoorah! I suppose the best bit is - I'm going home! Oh to be back in the UK where you don't feel sticky when you go outside!
The battle of the suitcases has ended. We came with 2 suitcases and now we're leaving with 4 and 2 bags. Mum's mailed Clem and told him to cut his hair, so Chris is now hacking away at his hair downstairs. It's quite comical. I shall post up some pictures later on.
We have a big family meal later on tonight before we'll all bundle into 2 cars to go to the airport. We fly from here at 11:10 tonight, and we'll be back in the UK for around 10am Sunday morning? I don't understand time differences, but Chris says we'll be flying for 12.5 hours to Munich, and then there's a 4 hour gap in Munich and a 2 hour flight to Manchester. So I think we're gonna be travelling for a long time! Eventhough it'll only be 11 hours... eeeee... I don't understand... eeee...
So now it's about half 1. I may have a brief nap cos I don't think I'll be able to sleep much on the plane. Then I'll have a shower and wait for the mountains of relatives to descend upon the house to wish us farewell, and then begin the adventure home. I need to buy a book for the plane! I finished my book without finding a replacement. Little Tiffany Aching will have to live in the suitcase... which reminds me, it's still on my bed! Anyway, I'd better get going.
