So I'm ill! So what? :)
Hellooo!
I have gotten my first cold of the winter. It's quite a mild once considering I step out into the freezing world at 5 in the morning every day with only 2 t-shirts and a coat on. I thought I'd be bed ridden or something, but no. It's just one of them bunged up I-can't-hear-anything sorta colds. It made me laugh yesterday morning when my nose squeaked every time a bent down to pick something up cos of air pressure. Haha :)
They forced me to take 5 days off work! I didn't want time off! I like my routine thank you very much. Ah well. Now I have 5 random days off and I won't have anything to do! Hoorah! I might go and explore another bit of England! I have 2 ideas at the moment - Oxford to visit my friend Nadia and perhaps my friend Ian, or Oxenhulme to see the Lake District at random and possibly because it only costs £1 to get there on the megatrain (the megatrain!) We'll have to see though. I'm only going for a day, but it'll be a cool day. A well deserved break perhaps :)
Our house has had soooo much interesting post recently. It's all down to me and Clem buying stuff from the internet. It's soooo random but very very cool how we end up with an assortment of oddly sized brown packages after the postman comes and mum and dad pile them up in the middle of the kitchen table ready for us to claim. It's like a very humble Christmas. "Brown paper packages tied up with string..." I might wrap some of my Christmas presents like that this year... :)
