Today, I completed the second section of my training for Ikea. I have no had introductory training in Health & Safety, Development with Ikea, History & Culture of Ikea, Rules and Regs os Ikea, Sales and a crash course in making friends in double time cos there's noone else who will talk to me. I'm also pretty good at being very crazy at very early in the morning.
I found out today that the founder of Ikea is called Ingvar Kamprad, and he's really nice! He's coming to visit the UK in May - it'll be really cool if he comes to visit Ashton Ikea! :D
I'm going to Stockport tomorrow to train on the computer systems! Gonna have to get there at 8 o'clock so I have to get up at unforgivable o'clock. No worries though. Plenty of practice to my eventual 6am til 10am shift. I think I'm getting better at being awake in the morning, but just not very good at not being asleep in the evening. I'm really chuffed though cos the people in my department are really nice and I reckon we'll have a real laugh in Home Organisation. Especially now that they've worked out I'm mad, and highly unstable. I adopted a psuedo mum as well, who said she would iron my Ikea shirt for me if I look crumpled. Very nice of her really. :)
I am enjoying to so much! Ikea is a nice place for me to have my first proper job I reckon! :D
Now... where's my bed...
