I really need to stop going so long without updating my journal. I hadn't crocheted in a very long time because I've been experiencing some wrist pain. But it feels better now, so I started working on a couple of things. Several months ago I mentioned I was going to buy Ana Paula Rimoli's latest pattern book, Amigurumi Toy Box: Cute Crocheted Friends. The first thing I made from the book is this little frog.
The pattern is called Princess Frog, and it's supposed to have a tiny yellow crown on top. But it didn't look much like a crown to me, so I just kept the frog simple. It stands 4½" (11½ cm) tall from the tips of the eyeballs to the bottom of the legs. I started on this a while back but finally got around to finishing it when pochacco906 and smiledoggie came over to my house a few days ago for some crafting. I cooked four dishes from The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook for us to eat, then we watched movies in my room and worked on our crafts. Such a fun, relaxing way to spend a weekend. :)
