Miniature Strawberry Cake

This is not a cupcake. It's a small version of a cake. Yes, there's a difference. :) This is cylindrical in shape and flat on the top, as opposed to 'domey' like a cupcake. There's another birthday at work this week and, since my coworker is allergic to chocolate, I made her a strawberry cake. I made this one up as I went along. I had no idea how big it was going to turn out, but it turns out...it's the size of a cupcake! Including the strawberries, the minicake measures 3" (7½cm) tall, and has a diameter of 2¼" (5¾cm).

I crocheted this last night while watching The Rock. I know it's crazy that it took me 14 years to watch that movie (I enjoyed it, by the way). I've been meaning to watch it ever since I visited Alcatraz last month. Right now I'm into movies about the Prohibition era of the 1920s and early 1930s. HBO just premiered a new series called Boardwalk Empire about corruption in Atlantic City during Prohibition, and I'm watching The Untouchables again for the hundredth time. What other good movies are there about this period in American history?
