Whoa, it's been two months since I've crocheted! I've just been so wrapped up in reading and watching movies & TV shows on Netflix, that I've been too lazy to craft. But I'm trying to get into it again. My fingers need the practice.
It was a coworker's birthday, so last night I crocheted up a quick little pear from Ana Paula Rimoli's book Amigurumi World: Seriously Cute Crochet. It measures 3¾" (9½cm) tall, just a tad smaller than an actual pear. My coworker was pleasantly surprised when I left it on her desk this morning.
I'm excited for my fall TV shows to come back, aren't you? Two of my favorite British shows, Merlin and The Inbetweeners return for their third seasons on BBC1 and E4, respectively. Then, of course, my American shows Glee, Parenthood, Modern Family and The Office are coming back real soon too. I have a feeling my reading is going to slow down a bit now that I'm going to be sitting in front of the TV a lot again. ;)
