I have been so busy at work lately, that I've not had the chance to do any real updates here. But I wanted to check in to say hi and see how you all are doing. I've been shopping online for Christmas presents, and it seems as though I'm receiving a package per day in the mail. I've still got to set aside time to wrap all the gifts. Sigh. I took the photo below when I was shopping for baby toys & clothes a few weeks ago. It's a basket filled with various monster plushies. That blur at the bottom of the pic is my jacket (I was trying to be discreet while taking photos inside the store). Is it not the cutest little monster?
I am in love with iTV's miniseries Lost In Austen. I knew about it since it aired in September, but my skepticism kept me away until recently. Imagine if you got sucked out of your present-day life and ended up in Longbourn with the Bennet family. It's funny the way the events of Pride and Prejudice change drastically with the introduction of a single person from the 21st century. Dude, now I feel like watching a marathon of Jane Austen movie adaptations.
