Little Yuzu is Watching
Sex and the City - Season 6, Part 2Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia NixonA meme I grabbed from
acastleonacloud's journal. Tell me about your current and past fandoms of 2007.
Clockwise from top left: Adam Pascal & Anthony Rapp of Rent; original Broadway cast
of Jersey Boys; John Gallagher Jr. and Jonathan Groff of Spring Awakening; Robert
Pattinson (who'll be playing Edward Cullen in Twilight, the movie); cast members of
The Office; my ultimate fandom, Harry Potter
1. What fandoms did you acquire in 2007?
The Office U.S. (TV);
Project Runway (TV);
Spring Awakening (Broadway);
Jersey Boys (Broadway)
2. What fandoms did you let go of in 2007?
Pirates of the Caribbean (film) and Heroes (TV) - I still haven't seen POTC 3: At World's End.
3. What fandoms did you mean to get into but didn't in 2007? Why?
None. Most of my fandoms are ones that I didn't mean to get into but ended up getting sucked into anyway. Harry Potter is a prime example of that.
4. What fandoms do you intend on checking out in 2008?
I kind'a want to see what all the hoopla is about with Stephenie Meyer's
Twilight series, even though I don't like vampire fiction. So I just started reading the first novel.
5. What fandoms do you think you might let go of in 2008 unless things significantly improve?
I've kind'a let go of
High School Musical already, but I did enjoy HSM2 (even though the first was the best). I just think HSM3 has potential to suck really bad.
6. What fandoms do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
Harry Potter - how could I ever let that one go, right? And probably The Office. Even if the show doesn't come back for months and months, or it does come back and the storylines are horrible, I'm too attached to the characters to let go of it.
7. What show impressed you most in 2007?
The Office. The writing on that show is so good, and the ensemble cast is the best on TV, in my opinion.
8. What show impressed you least in 2007?
Heroes. I don't know what happened to that show, but it got so 'blah.'
9. What fandoms had you liked previously but then rekindled in 2007?*
Rent (Broadway) - it's safe to say I'm obsessed now, thanks to Rapp & Pascal's 2007 return to the show;
Sex and the City (TV); Friends (TV).
*I added that question myself.
