PokerStars EPT Step 6

So I ran like a beast the whole time through the first 5 steps. Pocket pairs held up, hit when I needed to, finally got to step 6 where it was win or go back to the bottom.

Started off early with my TT in the small blind spiking a T on the flop. We went all in on the turn and the button had AA. No A on the river and I was the early chip leader.

Kind of didn't do much for a while, let the blinds rise, stole a few blinds. We ended up 5 handed at the break. I still had the chip lead but everyone had kind of caught up and the ante's were about to kick in.

Post break I had one aggro guy who I know from Pocket Fives who had been raising fairly aggressively and often raise PF. I had AKd in the BB so I re-raised him. He hit the time bank and finally decided to push all in, which I insta-called. He had 99, but an A on the flop and an A on the river sent him to the rail and me to a huge chip lead.

It didn't last tho. Two hands later a short stacked who had been pushing often to steal blinds on the bubble finally did it when I had a decent hand, ATo. Unfortunately he had AQ which brought me back down to reality. It didn't matter too much, as the same guy took out the other shorty A7 > 66 and I had secured myself at least a finishing cash position.

Three handed was fun. Everyone was shuffling chips everywhere, trying to steal everywhere they could. Same guy who had the AQ had been pushing every raiseable hand he had seen. I had 33 and called him, but his QJc hit the straight on the turn to send me to the rail.

As much as I woulda loved the trip to the UK, I'm plenty happy with $2825 on a $7.50 buy in =D
