(no subject)
So today was church. Devonna went to South Coast, so I took the van. Went to 2 different starbucks. lol. funny stories there. lol.
Ashley was at church today. Her and her family. She came up to say hi and it startled me cause I wasn't expecting to see her.
Jose and I kept laughing and talking through the sermon, cause the pastor said something about how "Elijah was one of the two men, besides Jesus, that never died." But Jesus obviously died...so we thought that was funny.
After church I came home and finished my drawing. I need to get hairspray so I can set it and it won't smear. But i think it came out alright. Lauren liked it. She got dropped off by Mike and we talked and got caught up on the last week of our lives since we had barely talked at all. (That was weird, and horrible, the not talking thing)
Then my mom, Lauren, and me went to the mall to look for dresses for winter banquet. I saw Sara at work but she was with a customer. I told her I'd be back but by the time we were done, I think she was off work or something. :( I'm sorry sara!
I found a dress though. It's more of a fun one. lol, but I like it. lol. And I found one for prom too. I was gonna get that one for winter banquet, but it was more fancy and promish. But I liked it, and it was only $58.80 (originally $160). And my mom was pleased with that. So I got both and now I'm set for prom.
Then we went and got decorations for Winter Banquet. It's gonna be gorgeous...lol. Everyone should go cause it's not gonna suck.
I took Lauren home and then my mom and I drove back. On Ventura and Vineyard it was sooo flooded. It was awesome. It was up to the curb,m and it's about a foot plus curb.
Jose came over and we hung out. Walked to the park hoping it would rain. We got there, and for those of you who've seen it, you'll get how awesome this is: The entire play area was flooded. Like, there was maybe a few feet of bark on the sides. Otherwise it's a good 5 inches deep everywhere. Where the swings are it came up to my knees. It looked like a pond. I was stoked. lol. It's really fun swinging in it too. Devonna wants to go with me after school to play in it. It was fun being all crazy and treking in it. We stayed there for a good hour or so and then we came home.
My feet were numb. It was so weird walking up and down the stairs. lol. I made soup though. And hot chocolate. Yum.
Jose went home and I really need to get to bed. But I have to do homework. Journals...and I'm sure she'll check them tomorrow...she's tricky. lol. Or at least tries to be.
